Selected slices can only be deleted via Management Console. ## Deleting archives when no agent registered under the tenant anymore 1. Delete these backups using the Web Restore (or Web Recovery) console. If you know your data center name (ex. EU2, US2, etc) simply go to \<DC>-cloud.acronis.com/wr, where \<DC> is the code of your data center. See details in [Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud: Web Restore or Web Recovery Console](https://kb.acronis.com/content/60087). Log in as the original user that created the backups. 2. Temporarily install an agent and register it to the account. Generally, for backups to be manipulated, unless the backups are cloud-to-cloud (C2C) of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, it is necessary to have an agent installed on any physical or virtual machine, registered under the cloud login (user credentials) for an administrator account of the respective customer. You can then delete the archive either in the Cyber Protection Console as described above. # Backups without Agent In some situations, you may need to delete a backup but there are no agents available, e.g. they are offline or deleted. This article will explain how you can delete a backup without an agent. > [!Info] > The reason there is no option to delete a backup in the UI is that no agents are currently deployed under this tenant. > > Deleting a backup from the **Backup Storage** tab requires an agent. The agent acts as a bridge between the back-end (the storage server) and the front-end (the **Backup Storage** tab), ensuring both ends are synchronized. > > Since no agent is deployed, the delete option is not available. ## How to delete backups with no agents 1. Log in to the management portal. 2. Click on the tab **"Devices"** 3. Choose the device that is offline 4. Click on **Recovery** 5. Click on **Download Files** 6. You will be directed to the [Web Recovery Console](https://kb.acronis.com/content/60087) 7. Choose the desired Machine 8. A list of backups will be shown, click on the **size** of the wanted backup 9. Click on **Delete** > [!Info] > If there are currently no devices available in your cyber protect console, you can directly reach the Web Recovery Console, if you know your data center name (e.g. EU2, US2). Simply go to \<DC>-cloud.acronis.com/wr, where \<DC> is the code of your data center. Full table with data center IDs and names/locations is available here. More information about the Web Recovery Console can be found here. >[!Info] >As an optional workaround, you can temporarily deploy an agent on any machine (physical or virtual), register it under the user, select that agent as the **Machine to browse from**, refresh the location, and then proceed with the deletion of the backup.
